| Contents | sends birthday greetings; everybody praises Aby and Mary Warburg's lovely apartment in Florence; Panina [Paul and Nina Warburg] were very happy visiting Warburg in Florence; he is pleased that Warburg can work well; he is pleased that Aby and Mary Warburg move into Fontenay for their summer holidays; Felix heard that Warburg was against Paul's plan to move to New York; but these two 'hyper sensitive' people [Paul and Nina Warburg], cannot bear to live so far away from Mrs. Loeb [Nina's mother]; Felix did not encourage him to move to New York although he will be very happy indeed to have him so near; it will make New York more of a home town for Felix; Frieda is very happy with the decision, although she voiced her views repeatedly that Puss [Nina Warburg] demands a great sacrifice from Paul; the baby, Gerald F. Warburg, is well; business is good, they concluded a transaction which will prove very advantageous for Felix and for father [Jacob] Schiff |
