| Contents | reports on the [Dürer] exhibition [at the Volksheim]; not many visitors come; the lecture by [Friedrich] von Borstel on 04/06/1905 was badly attended, only half a dozen people apart from the ten apprentices from the firm D. Goos in Winterhude; the second lecture, planned for 18/06/1905, was cancelled; the exhibition will stay open until the Annual General Meeting; Mary [Warburg] did not attend the birthday celebration of her 'fat' brother [Adolph Jacob Hertz]; Wilhelm went to Helmstedt, he enjoyed visiting his brother [Johann Nicolaus] there; he has good news from [the sanatorium in] Badenweiler, Wilhelm's wife's [Johanna Hertz] health is improving; is very happy that Nina [?] is with her; Wilhelm has asked Schwörer [Victor Schwoerer] and [Heinrich] Embden and both doctors are happy with his wife's progress; Hanna [Johanna Hertz] will return on 30/06/1905; people have been very kind to him; he enjoys Max Warburg's company, is of the same opinion with Max about questions of electoral law |
