Contentshe is still waiting for his room allocation in the sanatorium; Aby S. Warburg and his wife are still in Baden-Baden, but 'they do not do him anything'; in contrast, they make a positively good impression, because the majority of patients are middle class Jews from South Germany, harmless, but not a pleasure to hear or see; Mrs. Dr. [Carl?] Albrecht is the only woman with whom he will be able to talk; although the building and rooms are fine, he has to complain about the noise in the rooms, the plumbing, the service lift 'singing like mosquitoes'; but he values Dr. Heinsheimer, unprepossessing, with the face of a young man, looking like a mix of Fritz Behn and Arthur Cohen, concentrated, calm, compassionate; hopes that he will keep him free from the 'diabetes terror'; he is treated for his nervous condition; the weather is beautiful, it would be the right 'fodder' for Mieke; sends greetings to [Heinrich] Embden and thanks him for the letter; wants to know what Embden thinks about Jim [James Loeb]; sends greetings to Mary, Margaret Thurnham, the children, will cable when he has solved a chess problem, sends greetings to both grandmothers
