Contentshe was very pleased when Goldschmidt informed him that Warburg was interested in the library of his late brother-in-law, [Robert] Münzel; would be very happy if the library were purchased in its entirety by an institute; thanks Goldschmidt for his good services; a large part of the archaeological books was catalogued by B. Achelis in the Whitsun holidays; mentions a few particularly valuable volumes, [Walther] Amelung's 'Skulpturen des Vatikanischen Museums', 'Berliner Winckelmannprogramme', 'Hallesche Winckelmannprogramme', [Wilhelm] Dörpfeld's books on Troy, Brunn - Bruckmann's 'Denkmäler griechischer und römischer Sculptur' [edited by Heinrich Brunn, published by Verlagsanstalt F. Bruckmann A.-G.]; there is also a collection of photographs of Greek sculpture; Lepsius has asked his wife, en route via Jena to Tegernsee, to see to it that cataloguing the entire library proceeds quickly; he will forward the catalogue to Warburg; [an additional sentence in Goldschmidt's hand to Warburg]: Goldschmidt forwards the Lepsius letter to Warburg; it is a sad day for Hamburg that [Robert] Münzel has died
