Contentsencloses newspaper cuttings re 'collection Warburg' in Hamburg Planetarium; they have been written to spite Munich; on changing lecture dates for A. Farinelli; on Wilhelm Gundel, his work, his remuneration from Notgemeinschaft; Gundel has finished his long entry on star signs for Pauly-Wissowa; Gundel now has to finish the entry on star signs for Wilhelm Heinrich Roscher's dictionary; it will be a whole volume in the series, assisted by photo material from KBW; Gundel will travel to Rome to look for images in archaeological institutes and then to Athens where he found a companion piece to Tabula Bianchini; wants Warburg to write letters of introduction for Gundel; acknowledges receipt of Warburg's cable that Gundel should collaborate with the Planetarium exhibition; Saxl is very happy about this; on Gundel's Decan research with their decisive influence on Warburg's and Saxl's research; it is not enough to trace the Decans back to Babylonian sources, one has to trace them back to Egyptian sources; the Greek reports, that they had learnt astronomy in Babylon, are correct; in the Egyptian culture a link between both Babylonian and Greek culture was created which survives in European culture; on Gundel's workload, his finances etc; on a request by Panofsky, to find the caption of an image on earthly and heavenly love in a manuscript inventory of Gallerie Borghese; mentions [H.] Brauer, [Ernst] Steinmann
