Contentssends her his 'weekly confession' before the next [Franz] Bücheler lecture; thanks for the food parcel which is welcomed by everybody; likes the wine; the hat from Kimmelstiel is especially shapeless, but is good enough for the outings to the beer halls; on his drinking with his fellow students, Paul Ruben, [Hans] Nirrnheim; he bought a new walking stick in Bonn, but Warburg hit Ruben with it so that it broke into bits; he liked the first lecture by the 'famous' Carl Justi very much; in December he will start a four week course in fencing; he is short of money and hopes that father will send money soon; he wants to purchase a book which will be 'very useful' to him, Alfred Friedrich Gottfried Albrecht Woltmann's and Karl Woermann's 'Geschichte der Malerei', c. Mark 80 to 100; hopes to receive a letter from Olga; sends greetings to the family; greetings to [servants] Johann, Lina, Frieda, [the barber Gottschalk] Sander
