Contentsuncle Siegmund Warburg, Alsterufer, will leave very soon for Meran, together with daughters Anna [Warburg] and Rosa [Warburg]; aunt Théophilie [Warburg], however, thought that Anna might stay in Dresden with Théophilie [Warburg]'s sister, Mrs. [Louise?] Aschkenasy, but Charlotte Warburg thinks that Anna will travel with her parents; hopes that the bad weather does not put Warburg off Florence; do all students from Germany leave Florence at Christmas?; Warburg knows that he is always welcome in Frankfurt; Max Warburg has only a short holiday at Christmas, he might like to meet Warburg in Frankfurt; forwards Max Warburg's letter in which he complains about life in the army; uncle Salomon [Fürth] visited them; tells him of the Bülow concert, where Friederike Gossmann recited poems; Fritz Warburg is grateful for the postage stamps; asks him whether the trunk arrived; is pleased to read that he does not drink too much wine
