Contentsa year ago he would not have thought that next time he would send his congratulations on the occasion of their birthdays [08/03 and 24/02] from Florence; leaving Florence was difficult for him; it was a wonderful place for him to pursue his studies; he is travelling with A. Schmarsow, Ernst Burmeister, M. Semrau and [Ernst] Zimmermann; Schmarsow and Burmeister will go to Rome and Capri; Warburg does not join them, it would be too expensive, he is also very tired and he wants to have more time for a visit to Rome; plans to travel via Padua and Venice; letters to be sent to Venice, Casa Fumagalli; sends greetings to his parents, grandparents, uncle Moritz [Moritz Nathan Oppenheim] and aunt Kätie [Katharina Oppenheim], Paul and Felix Warburg, Reichenbergers and everybody else in Frankfurt
