| Contents | tells him of the wedding in Prague; it was a happy day; although Moritz Warburg has cancelled he arrived the previous day and left already in the morning together with uncle Moritz [Oppenheim]; he would have accompanied Charlotte Warburg and Olga to Vienna, but he has to be back in Hamburg as business is bad; the evening before Caro's [Caroline Rosenbacher] wedding her relatives from Berlin organised a play, the brothers and sisters of the bridegroom Louis [Lachmann] had arranged everything very well; the wedding took place in the synagogue, a boys' choir sang with organ accompaniment and the rabbi spoke very movingly; reception and dance followed; the bride [Caroline Rosenbacher] looked lovely, the groom [Louis Lachmann] is a fine chap; however, he strikes her as not being very inspirational |
