Contentsthey enjoy their summer residence, aunt Mali [Amalie Goldschmidt] spends weekends with them; the family gets up at 6 am, they play lawn tennis before breakfast; riders call at the house, recently Alice Hallgarten; at 8 am Moritz, Fritz, Max and Louise drive into town on the horse-drawn tramway; they return at half past six, play tennis, eat and go to bed at 10 pm; grandmother and Miss Fliess might join them from Frankfurt; on 27/05/1894 Siegmund and Paul Robinow visited them, then Paul Jacobson; Elly Simon came the previous day and stayed over night in the guest room; has Warburg read [Karl] Woermann's book 'Was will die Kunst?'; requests him to send it to her as Lucia [Oppenheim] recommended it; Charlotte sent him a book from [Joseph Baer & Co.], 'Biblioteca d'Italia'; forwards an article by [Emil] Heilbut; on 29/05/1894 aunt Théophilie [Warburg] and [daughter] Elsa Warburg visited them; Théophilie is very happy with her treatment for the ear ailment; she is very happy with the engagement of Aby S. Warburg; the bride is well spoken of, why did she choose Aby S.?; Anna Blumenfeld is in Timmdorf, nr. Travemünde, with her children and Rosa [von Günzburg] will join her there; David Fürth has met aunt Théophilie and family in Frankfurt, at the railway station
