| Contents | thanks for a New Year letter; he spent a few days with his 'Fritzichen' [Frieda Warburg] in Lakewood as she was ill with a cold; wishes Warburg a happy New Year, a year when Warburg will be content and when they will meet often; Felix and Frieda celebrated the New Year until 3 am at Heidelbachs; he is getting used to the new work situation, his future partner is very patient; enjoys the family life of the Schiff family, hopes that Warburg will come soon and see it for himself; is very happy that he has a very good relationship with his future father-in-law [Jacob Schiff] and that James Loeb is a very nice colleague; Felix thought at first that James Loeb would be his enemy, but he turned out to be a good friend; James is not a businessman, but in order to please his father he broke off his art historical studies |
