ContentsWarburg is correct when he accuses Fritz of being lazy, but first everybody waited for the baby [James Paul Warburg, first child of Paul Warburg] to arrive and ever since nobody has any time for anything; forwards book catalogues from [Otto] Meissner, one of them with an article on hayfever; Max is going out every night; in the evening he will go with Panina [Paul and Nina Warburg] to Lucia Oppenheim; baby James is putting on weight, Henri is still in prison, and aunt Mali [Amalie Goldschmidt] has still no companion; parents and sisters will return home in the next few days; Olga and Louise will move into the rooms upstairs, Max and Fritz downstairs; he approves of the new interior decoration throughout the house; is looking forward to Warburg's visit to Hamburg at Christmas
