Contentsencloses a card by Mrs. Flemming which he forgot to enclose in his letter of 14/10/1897; there are no news; Warburg's father is full of life, aunt Mali [Amalie Goldschmidt] is improving [from shingles]; Warburg's parents and Olga will go to Berlin for a few days; Louise Warburg is practising running the household; Louise and Max Warburg attended a dinner party at Oppenheims' on Sunday [05/12/1897]; she wore a ballgown for the first time and danced a lot; Fritz Warburg is studying hard, but his marks are not very high; Warburg's parents give Warburg's letters to 'Jobus' to read; he is very happy that they are so happy in Florence; hopes that the lampshade with the 'Krusedullen' decoration [letters] has been completed; commiserates them that they only have few cups and saucers; Felix Warburg has made a booking for a crossing leaving New York on 07/06/1898 and will arrive in Hamburg on 17/06/1898; informs him that he has examined Warburg's 'idols' ['Götzen'; the American dolls?] and cleaned them, but they are moth-eaten
