| Contents | thanks them for their birthday greetings; she has never had a happier birthday; she would never have thought that she would become so calm and contented; Paul is spoiling her; Charlotte Warburg sent her an album with memories of the eve of wedding festivities and the wedding day, which Olga likes very much; she also loved to see Mary's posters again; the 'Tante Lotte' photographs amuse her tremendously; her mother-in-law presented her with two volumes of the work by Wilhelm Bode on Rembrandt; she has become used at running a household, writing letters, playing the piano, reading; she has many invitations to meet Paul's family and friends, nearly every afternoon somebody calls and collects her for a ride; they visited Frederick Warburg's house which was charming; Olga also visited John [Frederick Warburg's son] who suffered a very bad attack; Olga and Paul go to the theatres often, the plays are silly but well played; she has got used to London after having got used to the notion that she is a 'nobody' [in English in the original]; the cost of living is very high in London; is happy to read that [Aby Warburg and Mary Warburg] enjoy their new apartment; sends greetings to [Alfred and Anna] Doren; Paul sends greetings |
