| Contents | is happy for them having moved into their new home; is pleased that Warburg was Senator [Heinrich?] Burchard's tour guide, calls him a real gentleman; Moritz has returned from his trip to Amsterdam where he saw the Rembrandt exhibition; he visited Frankfurt am Main, Brussels and then stayed two days in Amsterdam; Charlotte will return to Hamburg soon, she is very happy being with her mother; he stayed in Hotel Doelen and met Mr. [Thomas?] and Mrs. Hardy from Hamburg, Edmond de Rothschild and his wife, and Dr. [Richard] Stettiner; Stettiner went twice to the exhibition with Moritz Warburg, which was good for Moritz, but Moritz finds that Stettiner lacks 'fire'; Moritz found the exhibition wonderful, still thinks of the heads and 'Nachtwache' ['Nightwatch']; Olli [Olga Warburg] sends cheerful letters; Louise is Moritz Warburg's companion; Fritz likes Berlin, the operation seems to have helped him; Max is cheerful, but does not want to go out; Moritz wished they could find the ideal wife for him; Moritz spoke with Mary's father who said that Mary's mother is getting better; the previous evening Moritz went to see 'Cyrano de Bergerac' and liked it |
