| Contents | Mary is happy that spring and warm sunshine have come at last; they sit at the open window and enjoy the wonderful view; Dr. Edgar Kurz advised a little rest and [Aby and Mary] Warburg are thinking of a short holiday in Perugia; hopes that Nurse Emma will find time to stay with the baby; they will have returned to Florence by the time Malice [Max and Alice Warburg] will arrive in Florence; Nurse Emma, who is employed by Count Hochberg, just told her that she has time to look after Marietta; is very happy for Nina as [Jacob and Therese] Schiff will arrive in Hamburg shortly; Dr. [Julius] Sachs, his wife and daughter have arrived and visited [Aby and Mary] Warburg so that they can report back to Friedaflix [Felix and Frieda Warburg] in New York; Marietta is a very sweet baby, but it is difficult to photograph her in her best moments; calls her 'phenomenally normal'; Warburg thanks his father for his letter and is pleased that the CDB [Commerz Discont Bank] affair seems to have been settled; agrees to Fritz Warburg's plans to spend the summer semester in Freiburg; is Cohen-Kysper in Hamburg, as he has not replied to one of Warburg's letters?; Mary knows the new cook employed for Malice [Max and Alice Warburg], she has known her and her mother for many years; sends greetings to Louise |
