Contentsshe has great problems with keeping up her correspondence; she has a great deal to do and can rest and thereby write only on Sundays; she needs to interview cooks, wait for the dressmaker to appear, friends of her children will visit etc; requests a photograph of Max Adolph [Warburg]; when will Warburg return to Hamburg?; will Mary and Warburg visit Olga in London after having stopped breastfeeding Max Adolph?; how does she like Carl Julius [Derenberg]?; Luise [Louise Derenberg] writes with such pride, typical for the mother of her first child; later on the pride disappears, at least that was what happened with her; she has lost her spontaneity after the sad event; she has grown so old, wants a bit of Mary's youthfulness
