Warburg is in Hamburg for a few days; asks about the photographs of the Jewish gravestones, do they have anything to do with Warburg family research?; should Mary forward them to John C. Warburg?; the poor mulatto woman is still unemployed, Mary will try to help her; in the evening Mary went to a concert, [E.] Schumann-Heink was wonderful; the tableaux vivants [for the Schillerfest] have already been photographed at Sagebiel's the previous day; Marietta is playing with two pencils, pretending she is knitting; calls her cushion 'baby' Mille; Emma Hübener admired 'Bubi' [Max Adolph Warburg]
