| Contents | she is very happy being on her own at home; Heinrich Embden visited her and they talked about Warburg, [André Jolles; tells him that there is no truth in the E. [Emma Klussmann / Heinrich Embden] liaison; re Schillerfest: Mary did not want to be pulled in to it , but nobody else volunteered; Mary only attended meetings and organised the tableaux vivants, nothing else; seen from Florence it might look quite trivial; everything is so much more historic in Florence and that's why Mary loves Florence; agrees with Warburg re way of living; hopes that they can do things differently and better in the future; should they have to face a difficult time, Warburg will not be disappointed by her; is pleased that the '[Georg?] Roemer - war' has ended with Warburg being the winner; news from Helmstedt are good, 'Putihag' [Wilhelm Adolph Hertz, son of Johann Nicolaus Hertz and Magdalene Hertz?] seems to be very sweet to his little brother [Walther Hertz] |
