Contentshe has arrived safely in Florence; he is together with Malice [Max and Alice Warburg], Mr. [Hermann?] Schweitzer and [Adolf?] von Beckerath; Warburg stayed at [Pensione] Albini's at first and then moved to [Heinrich] Brockhaus; he met Dr. [Edgar] Kurz, [André] Jolles, [Robert] Davidsohn; the weather is very bad; Mary should send her letters to him c/o Kunsthistorisches Institut in Florenz; he will keep one room in Albini's Pensione, but stay at Brockhaus; Grietje [Jolles] will come to Florence in the following week; Mrs. Wissotsky is still griefing after the death of her daughter Nelly; Mary [another daughter of Mrs. Wissotsky?] will arrive shortly, on her return from Naples; it is very green in Florence, Warburg mentions a tree with mauve blossoms; he likes the faces in the street, they are 'so decently constructed'; in contrast to the faces of the Germans, calls them 'Thierleute' [animal people]; he will visit the Warburg apartment the next day
