Contentsreminds her to hand the tax rebate papers to Wilhelm as they have to be cashed in by 28/02/1905; he will return to Hamburg on 28/02/1905, in the afternoon; is [Giovanni] Poggi's periodical in the parcel from Italy?; is pleased that Mary Warburg enjoyed the evening in the Warburg family on 24/03/1905; he met [Richard] Baerwald and wife, [Julius] Ziehen, Salomonsohns; he has not visited Betty Wulff; Warburg saw a painting by [Hans] Thoma in the Cassirer gallery, an Alpine panorama with the Lauterbach glacier; beautiful, unfortunately sold; he enjoyed meeting Wilhelm Vöge; Ellen Key is giving lectures in Berlin, which he is not attending, but he saw the queue outside the lecture hall; three quarters looked as if attending a high Jewish holiday, one quarter had torn physiognomies, too much hair and teeth in 'unexpected' places; Warburg himself should not complain as he certainly does not have a handsome face, but the Jews in Berlin look particularly ugly; he will meet S.-M. [Ernst Schwedeler-Meyer?] and Vitzthum in the evening; he can see it coming that Vitzthum will become an arrogant chap in the future
