| Contents | he is feeling better; likes Brussels, the old market place with the Renaissance façades; he sees many people resembling faces painted by Breughel and very few painted by van Dycks; Warburg went to see the miniatures in the Bibliothèque Royale; [Eugène] Bacha, the director of the Bibliothèque Royale, told Warburg that the organiser of the historic tournament was Joseph Cuvelier; Warburg met Cuvelier, spoke with him about miniatures for hours, showed him, in the hotel, the large photograph which Paul [Warburg] had sent to Warburg [Yale cassone], which Cuvelier admired very much; Cuvelier has given him a ticket for the historic tournament on 13/08/1905 and for the final rehearsal next morning, 7 am; is grateful to his brother Paul [Warburg] who has given him the key to unlock this piece of research; is happy that Paul [Warburg] likes Max Adolph; wants to join the family on the next family outing to the heath; is annoyed about the amount of time which is wasted on visitors at Kösterberg; wants to visit Antwerp before his return |
