Contentsthanks him for letter with his report on his first consultation with the doctor [August Herrmann] in Karlsbad and on Warburg's suspicion that Embden had sent him instructions; Mary went to [Heinrich] Embden and asked him about Warburg's condition; Embden laughed, assured her that he had not sent instructions to the doctor in Karlsbad; Warburg has to be careful with what he eats, he is not a diabetics, but has to be careful not become a diabetic; he should not think that his future his bleak, he just has to be careful with sugar and beer intake; he should read the letter by [Paul] Clemen, which she forwarded; he will see from it what people expect from him in the future; has Bode not mentioned anything about it [a possibility that Warburg might be employed by the Kunsthistorisches Institut in Florenz to conduct tours, in conjunction with a professorship at Bonn university]?; she enjoys the lovely spring weather; she may, after all, take the children, after her visit to the crematorium [Lucia Oppenheim's funeral], to Borstel; the children can wait in a cab until the funeral is over; calls him 'Petit'
