Contentsreports on the meeting in preparation of the next International Congress of the History of Art; it will be in Dresden, October 1907; the organisation will be much more tightly planned; they plan to publish a brochure of the kunstgeschichtliche Gesellschaft, they plan to publish Annual Reports; he can work with the colleagues in the spirit of 'late friendships of men'; [Josef] Strzygowski is 46 years of age, in the best years of his life, Warburg is 40, Karl Koetschau is 38 and very fat and Rudolf Kautzsch is 38, with silver hair in his beard, tall and somewhat 'pastoral'; all four of them want an end to amateurish conferences; all four of them are 'scholarly tamed'; Strzygowski is an expert in 'East - West', Kautzsch has worked on manuscripts, Koetschau is a practical man and Warburg is a specialist on the relationship antiquity and Florence, Flanders and Florence, festivals and 'the discovery of Mieke'; [Paul] Clemen sent a cable from Schlangenbad, that he could meet Warburg in the following week in Weimar; details his travel plans Dresden, Leipzig, Weimar, Paris, Hamburg
