Contents	is pleased that they like Fanö; he will send on the beach shoes as soon as they arrive; Wolf, the silly man, has not done what he ought to have done; in the evening he will discuss the Beckerath problem [in Volksheim]; Warburg and [Hugo] Groothoff visited the exhibition [in Volksheim], but they did not like the many paintings of nudes; he expects [Wilhelm] Waetzoldt the next day at lunch; Waetzoldt will stay for three days; Warburg spoke with Thilenius; do Malice [Max and Alice Warburg] enjoy their stay in Fanö?; the Oberschulbehörde has not appointed Oskar Bulle, because they wanted a 'papageno italiano'; Warburg had to give the bad news to Bulle, which was very hard for him; is annoyed that he is so powerless; the earliest date for him to travel to Fanö is 17/07/1909, but it might be two days later; Paul Gustav Hübner sends greetings, he is cheerful
