Contentshe arrived the previous day in Murnau with Sieveking, Jim [James Loeb] met them at the train station; in the afternoon Warburg gave Jim and [Johannes] Sieveking a lecture on the Landshut fireplace; Warburg is pleased with his research find, the fireplace in Landshut; [Georg] Graf Mycielski, from Cracow, was enthusiastic about it, also director [Harry] Fett from Christiania; professors Curtius, [Paul?] Wolters praised the lecture, also Johannes Sieveking, [Max] Dvorak, whom Warburg valued highly, Dr. [Friedrich Hermann] Hofmann of Nationalmuseum; Warburg enjoyed the train journey to Murnau; he had a telephone message from Hofrat Adler [Landshut Castle] stressing that permission had been given to Warburg for a meeting, but not for the tables to be used for pictures; Warburg said that this was new to him, that he would complain to Prince Rupprecht; Warburg only used a small table, but the participants came nearer, not many people actually saw what Warburg was explaining [in Landshut]; [Paul Gustav] Hübner was useless, sat on a chair half asleep; Warburg was exhausted, visited afterwards aunt Marie [Maria Elisabeth Hertz], Irmelgard [Irmgard Dahm], Miss Mannhardt, Mrs. D. Haff; the feeling of fatigue has not left him; wants to stay on, as he has discovered very interesting card games in the Nationalmuseum; he would have liked to attend the [Bernhard] Dernburg dinner party, it was reported in the Münchner Nachrichten; he would have liked to see the children playing dressing up; Mary should not listen to Hübner's report of the congress, Hübner is 'only an archaeologist'
