| Contents | on the repair work in the house; hopes that by the weekend they can start moving furniture and books back into the downstairs rooms; is pleased with the new maid, Frieda; Mary's work on Anna's bust was once again somewhat 'shaky', to use Hildebrandt's [Adolf von Hildebrand?] terminology; but she is making progress; Anna's mother is in Hamburg and will attend a sitting on 14/04/1910, so that Mary can work and does not have to keep up a conversation; Wilhanna [Wilhelm Hertz and wife Johanna] are very sensible; Wilhelm [Hertz] cannot leave Hamburg because of the Schäfer problem; they will not go on holiday but use the money to pay for a holiday for Hans [Hertz]; Mary likes Hanna [Johanna Hertz], [Heinrich] Embden is not right in writing her off as hysterical; supplies address for 'Vossin' [Bertha de Voss]: Maria Magdalenenkloster, Richardstrasse, Eilbeck; Mary has written a long letter to Panina [Paul and Nina Warburg]; Erich and Lola will visit Mary next day, a new 'Muschi' still has not been found; is very proud about Warburg's discovery, a connection with Egypt; Mary will lunch at Käthe's [Embden]; children are well, they are having their Physical Exercise class |
