Contents	thanks him for his first letter from Bologna; is very pleased for him that his research is going so well; is so happy that Warburg finds time for [Carl Georg] Heise, who can count himself lucky in having found a 'deputy father' in Warburg; she will forward an application to the Godeffroy Foundation, by Paul Wohlwill for [Ernst] Eitner; Wohlwill wants Warburg to write a recommendation for Eitner, who already has one from Sieveking; she will visit Fritz and Anna [Warburg] later in the day; she forgot to attend the [Fritz Schumacher] lecture the previous evening, Miss Schumacher rang to remind her but it was too late; she therefore visited the lecturer next day and apologised with a bunch of flowers; she went to the dentist; she has bought a new sewing machine, Mark 75; she really needs a new machine for making clothes for the children; the next day she will visit Beckeraths; later in the day she will go with her children to Alice to celebrate Erich [Warburg]'s birthday; is looking forward to seeing [Wilhelm] Waetzoldt back in Hamburg soon
