| Contents | it is eight days since he has started his cure and is very pleased with himself; he has lost weight, can bend down more easily, uses his muscles, can walk for a long time; Dapper is very pleased with Warburg's progress, told him that Warburg does not suffer from diabetes; Warburg cannot quite believe it yet; he has read the [Max] Liebermann article by Waetzoldt and likes it very much, also Mrs. [Therese?] Simon and Mrs. Ballin found him very good; Warburg has been thinking a lot of Johnny boy [the late 'John', i.e. Johann Nicolaus Hertz]; [John's colleague] Gerhard is also in Kissingen, as is Schliemann; the weather is not very good, but Warburg is going on walks, enjoys the lovely landscape; he cannot help it if their holiday will coincide with the Whitsun holidays, the children will not miss their parents; encloses list of names, [Wilhelm] Waetzoldt should send out offprints |
