| Contents | he has written two letters to her, in which he aired his complaints, her attitude to him, to 'nature' and to [Paul Gustav] Hübner; he does not want to send them yet, he may hand them to her at a later date as she might not respond to all his points in detail as requested by him; the family have to go on their trip to the heath without him, he cannot leave before 09 or 10/10/1913; he wants to go to Stuttgart for 3 to 4 days after his cure; he does allow them to travel to the heath, if Wilhelm [Hertz] accompanies them; if not, then they have to stay in Mölln; will Lene [Magdalene Hertz] and the two boys [Wilhelm Adolph and Walther Hertz] accompany them?; does she have the mad idea to invite Hübner?; Warburg would be absolutely against it; it was bad enough that Mr. and Mrs. Hübner visited Mary and the children in Oberhof; he writes all this because Frede wrote to him that the little Hübner child was with them on a boating trip; Mary has promised him not to meet Hübners; the previous day Warburg visited Krahnstövers; Elena has grey hair; Marcella Kalan vom Hofe hopes to be separated from the brute of her husband shortly; Marcella is 41, but looks older, her children had to suffer a lot; Warburg will go for a walk with them again; is sorry that Max [Warburg] is not well and very busy |
