| Contents | finds [Carl] Jost's letter very amusing; he will send him a postcard; is happy that [Heinrich und Gertrud] Embden could meet in Gnesen; it might be better not to send him the 'Times' article [about Paul Warburg] to Italy; Paul's [Warburg] view on J. Sch. [Jacob Schiff] is very interesting; he had a letter from Margaret Thurnham that she could get employment in London only in July; she therefore has to try somewhere else, will go to Manchester; Warburg agrees that Mary put up 'Saxelina' [Mrs. Elise Saxl] and baby Hedwig Saxl; tells her to write on general topics, only the German authorities practise censorship; in the evening he will attend an important event; finds it charming that Frede receives so many letters from the soldier [Huart]; Warburg receives newspapers regularly, asks Mary to continue with work on the war archive; informs her that a second issue of 'Rivista' has been planned; the meeting in the Kunsthistorisches Institut in Florenz will take place on 20/02/1915, is pleased that he was able to contribute to the work of the Institut; sends greetings to everybody |
