| Contents | has he received her reply about St. Peter [Eiderstedt]?; Buchsbaum [Amalie Buck] has been in St. Peter, but some 20 years ago; she said the coast is beautiful; Mary will try to get brochures of Strand Hotel and Hotel St. Peter, she will also ask [Richard] Robinow; about the cast of a frog for [Marc] Rosenberg: if Rosenberg's raffle can wait, she wants to order nine casts, as she does not want to spend time repairing one cast; she wants to get on with work on Detta's [Marietta Warburg'] bust; she attended the lecture by Professor Hall in Patriotische Gesellschaft the previous evening; it was a very good lecture, Professor Hall is very interesting, Germanophile; she went to Malice [Max and Alice Warburg] afterwards where she met him and his German wife, from Göttingen, Rathgens, Sorrels, the American Consul who spoke about British finances and that they are sometimes worse than German finances; Malice [Max and Alice Warburg] left for Berlin and will continue to Oberhof; Detta [Marietta Warburg] will write to father the next day; she went with her schoolchildren from the day-home to Lene [Magdalene Hertz] in Borstel; everybody sends greetings; Mary is happy that he can walk so well, that he can eat sweet cakes; Elly [Warburg] sends greetings; [Heinrich] Embden will examine Elly Warburg |
