Contentsthanks for letters; plans to keep a diary and send it as letter every Sunday; plans a trip at Whitsun, to leave Rothenburg on 25/05/1917 for Schillingsfürst, next day to Dinkelsbühl, next day, Whitsun, 27/05/1917, to Ansbach, next day either to Nuremberg or Rothenburg; she will be the leader of the group and will be very responsible; Olga [Franke], Ruth Schramm, Suse Hundsdörfer, Hertha Herzens; they do not take Irmgard Rathgen; members of the committee of the school, Mrs. Dr. Singer, Mrs. Dr. Albert, Miss Flöcker, [K. Th.] von Eheberg, visited; the girls had to clean the school, the stables, etc.; some girls played music, sang; people speak fast, but sing slowly in Bavaria; repairs are not done urgently, the showers in the bathroom have only a thin trickle of water; characterizes the girls in her dormitory: Helene Prang, Linda Hartmann, Suse Hundsdörfer; her parents are dead, two siblings are dead, a brother is severely wounded, she has an adopted sister, she has been brought up by her aunt and uncle in East Prussia; Marietta wants to receive a letter from her father; could he also complain to 'Hamburger Fremdenblatt' as Marietta receives it only very irregularly; thanks Mary for a box of figs
