Contentshopes that everybody is well, that Warburg does no longer suffer from hayfeaver; she had the 'Spanish illness', flu; the children are well; Anna will be teaching her younger daughter Eva [Warburg] to get her into school by Christmas; she is very busy with the house, the family; Ingrid [Warburg] is at school, her subjects are geography, history, handicrafts, drawing, carpentry; encloses a photograph of the children; a week ago they moved back to the city, Fritz [Warburg] has more to do in Stockholm; supplies information for Warburg as requested, about a sword, kept in 'Zeughaus'; the blade is German, 1597, the handle probably Scandinavian, the blade is a so-called 'Kalenderklinge', a masterpiece of German metal decoration although there is a Toledo stamp on it; a calendar with the names of the saints for every day is engraved on the blade, the 'Our Father' prayer, on the other side coats-of-arms of all the electors of the German Reich and other coats-of-arms; cabbalistic signs follow, German proverbs; there is one more sword with a calendar blade, but no other writing; there is another sword, kept in Leipzig, a Gustaf Adolf sword, with 'secret' writing on it; she could obtain photographs of the swords in Sweden if Warburg wants them; she is sending a food parcel to Mary via the Swedish diplomatic channels, tea; is pleased that mother [Charlotte Warburg] is getting better; Fritz [Warburg] will visit her in October; they will celebrate on Sunday, 15/09/1918, their 10th wedding anniversary; on that occasion Warburgs had been in Stockholm; everybody in Sweden is hoping for a German victory
