Contents	thanks his family very much for all the presents, food, flowers; loves most of all Mary's pastel paintings; however, he is waiting for more photographs, tells her to have photographs made in Festenburg with the daughters and with Irmgard [Dahm]; wants the daughters to go back to Hamburg; the photographs she sent seem to be old, from the previous years; Max Adolph sent a letter, but without photographs; Warburg is still waiting for [Heinrich] Embden's photographs; what he misses most are his books; what is Mary reading?; the Jacob Burckhardt - Gottfried Kinkel correspondence has been published [edited by Rudolf Meyer-Kraemer]; in the afternoon he had tea with Ludwig and Mrs. [Hertha] Binswanger, very charming, but he is still their slave; Wilhelm [Hertz, his nephew] wrote a good letter [on 12/06/1921; Wilhelm Hertz, brother-in-law, wrote on 10/06/1921], but Fritz [Warburg] did not write; Max Adolph's pastel paintings are very good; Saxl has not written; wants Buchsbaum [Amalie Buck]'s address
