| Contents | thanks for letters; Helene Bock is with her for two days; afterwards Walther [Hertz] will come, on his way from Bad Oeynhausen to Dahme an der Ostsee where he will stay with Hans Hertz; Walther is very content with the result of his cure, he can nearly walk without a limp; afterwards Mary will invite Vossin [Bertha de Voss], as Lene [Magdalene Hertz] will not visit; Mary visited Elsa [Melchior?] with Max Warburg and the newly engaged [Lola Warburg and Rudolf Hahn]; Alice's mother Mrs. Magnus is not well, Alice will travel back from Kissingen on her own; Max Warburg spoke very funnily about Kurt Hahn; hopes that Milly Rohland [Bianca Emilie Rohland-Becker] will visit Warburg soon; [Johannes Albertus Franciscus] Orbaan lives in Saanen, Kanton Bern, not in Gstaad; Mary hopes to visit Warburg before October; is happy that he likes her pastel painting of Brocken Mountain and that he likes Max Adolph's paintings; her son has more talent than she has; she will forward the Lindig photograph and the last one from Festenburg, but [Heinrich] Embden does not allow her to send more photographs |
