Contentshas received new letter-headed paper from Kimmelstiel; it is the Day of Atonement, she will go to Michaeliskirche for a concert, Brahms 'Requiem'; Mary has sent black gloves and Honey Jelly as samples without commercial value; the previous evening Mary went to a lecture by [Wilhelm] Niemeyer on modern art, in the so-called 'Kunstbund'; she enjoyed it very much; Mary only goes out in the evening when somebody is with Frede, the previous day Frede was with Mary Altmann; Marietta sent a cheerful letter, happy about little bits and pieces which Mary has handed Emmy [Emilie Merck]; Warburg will have read something about the installation of the new Rektor in 'Hamburger Fremdenblatt'; Mary wanted to congratulate Max Warburg on his honorary doctorate, but he was already on his way to Berlin; she will tell Saxl to write to Warburg, Saxl and 'Saxlina' [Mrs. Elise Saxl] will dine with Mary the next day
