Versammlung deutscher Philologen und Schulmänner' in Hamburg; Dr. [Hermann?] Joachim also knew him; describes Norden, pointed beard, long nose, yellowish teint; Saxl showed him the library, which impressed Norden very much; weather is beautiful, springlike; the child who Mary saw playing with a spinning top, was right, spring is coming; is annoyed that Warburg was told of Boll's plans to visit him in Kreuzlingen, as nothing was confirmed; the dinner the previous night was in Mittelweg, but without Max who was in Berlin; he will return for the Norden lecture; Saxl was very pleases with Warburg's latest letter and that he approved Saxl's book purchases; Frede is writing an English essay; Max Adolph will return to Hamburg on 12/03/1922
