| Contents | thanks for letters from Warburg and Nurse Lydia; it is the day of [Gustav] Pauli's lecture; it is always very difficult to get the slide projector from Andreas Krüss, so that they have asked a firm in Altona to supply one; likes the idea that Warburg has to take tea at 4 o'clock, so that he has still time for his walk afterwards; or could he go for a walk in the mornings in the winter months?; does not know anything about the ship 'Resolute'; remembers that Warburg has written to her about Cliff Dwellings; how happy she was when she got a letter from Warburg in the USA!; back then, it was she who had broken the friendship in Berlin, but was full of remorse immediately afterewards and very happy when she got letters from Warburg; confesses that she had no idea that Warburg's trip to America was undertaken to 'win' her back; on [W] Cuno as prime minister, Alice said that Max Warburg will not be happy with him, because he does not think that Cuno will be up to it; Anna [Warburg] has gone out for the first time and will soon be able to leave the clinic |
