Contentsshe has not got a letter from Warburg on Sunday, is not surprised as letters are only delivered once on Sunday; she does not expect Warburg to write to her every day before the lecture; she read in Saxl's letter that the lecture text will be finished in time; is very pleased for him; he can look to the future with confidence; Max Adolph will reply to Warburg's forwarded card from Heidelberg; on the train connections, via Stuttgart and Constance; wonders whether Beckerchen [Bianca Emilie Rohland-Becker, known as 'Milly'] will attend the lecture?; is pleased that Bing has found the Voth book and sent it on; [Wilhelm] Printz has arrived and has started with his work; Datzen [Marietta Warburg] went with Emmy [Emilie Merck] to Rotenburg, on the road to Bremen, where the hospital has a rest home for nurses and where they want to meet up with their former colleagues; Liselotte Dehmel stays in Worpswerde with a friend; it is quiet in the house, but when Max Adolph is at home, it is noiys, he is full of nonsense and plans and jokes; Mary is very pleased with his development and thinks that Warburg will be proud of him; expects Mrs. Saxl and children for tea
