| Contents | is happy that Fritzanna [Fritz and Anna Warburg] were with him on 31/12/1922; [Ernst] Spiegelberg told Mary that he has spoken to Fritz on the telephone and Fritz had said that Warburg was very pleased with their visit; the family has sent him a joint letter; Wilhelm [Hertz] also sent a letter; Max Adolph has handed her a number of postage stamps; postage will be doubled again soon; finds it a good idea that Warburg encloses postage stamps in his letters to friends so that they can afford to reply; Adolph Goldschmidt visited Mary on 31/12/1922, asked about Warburg; he has aged, has lost weight, will be 60 on 16/01/1923; [Wilhelm] Printz has left, Percy Ernst Schramm as well, will return to Heidelberg to work as unpaid researcher for Professor [Harry] Bresslau; Max Adolph has returned to Heidelberg to meet up with colleagues from his trip with [Ludwig] Curtius, at present in Munich; Mary will send photographs soon; on the photograph of Bing, does not find that she looks ugly, perhaps not flattering; Lili du Bois-Reymond and [her daughter] Lölchen [Lola du Bois-Reymond] visited the previous day on their way to Cassirers; they wanted to get to know Cassirers as they are friends of their friend Prof. Hoffmann; Mary visited Renate [Warburg] in clinic Wünsch; the jubilee of the bank will be celebrated on 06/01/1923, Mary might produce a funny drawing |
