| Contents | Max Adolph might not visit Warburg on his return journey, wants to see Verona and travel via Brenner pass; finds it good that Max Adolph has not gone to Venice, he did not have enough time; but is happy that Max Adolph saw Siena and Orvieto; he has sent two postcards and has started a letter, but was too tired to finish; Mary has spoken to Mrs. Gertrud Embden, her husband [Heinrich Embden] has to stay in Hamburg to look after a patient, but he will travel to Kreuzlingen shortly; she did not know whether her husband would travel via Frankfurt; Mary agrees with Warburg that the lecture programme in the Bibliothek Warburg should be written about in the newspapers; it is Saxl's achievement to organise such events in such dreadful times; doubts whether [Otto] Lauffer would be the right person to write such an article; Mary stresses that she always replies to Warburg's questions, tells him to be more patient; a new nightshirt is ready for Warburg, [Heinrich] Embden or Max Warburg will bring it to him; Mary does not know whether Paul or Felix will travel from the US to Europe; on the commission of experts in Berlin, the French are so anti-German that everybody can see it; will the conflicts with Bavaria and Saxony be settled?; the book by Joachimsen has been ordered |
