Contentsthanks for letter with Milly's [Bianca Emilie Rohland-Becker] signature; is very happy that Milly visited him; is sure that Milly was good company and, although a 'laywoman', listened closely to Warburg's scholarly explanations; does not like the title for the Perseus story, too complicated; she will forward the title to Max Adolph; on the Perseus passage in the previous letter, which is difficult to read: Saxl will be able to help them, he can read Warburg's handwriting; Clara [Hertz] should have typed it the previous day, but there was no time; encloses attendance register, not complete; [Werner] von Melle was unable to come, he was ill; Saxl will report on the lecture, which was very good, much better than anticipated; [Conrad] Borchling himself was sorry, that the influence of classical antiquity on the symbolism of the Germanic Empire was not as strong as he would have liked it; Mary does not know which route Alice Warburg will take to Switzerland; Mary will ask her to bring collars, the new boots from Frehse; she will try to find a briefcase; on the trusses: [Heinrich] Embden has left precise measurements, a Swiss truss-maker can make them; it would be strange to ask Krauth to travel to Kreuzlingen, just to repair the trusses; Lena Hammer has sent a letter to Detta [Marietta Warburg], expressing her thanks for the chocolates; has Mrs. Hammer written to Warburg?; Mary will buy the book by [Edwin S.] Hartland; Mary will discuss the Perseus article in Wilhelm Heinrich Roscher; Mary has given Warburg's thanks to Bing, who was very pleased; Marietta has a free Sunday, has gone with Walther [Hertz] to a play in Kammerspiele
