Contentsdetailed report on his work; the 3rd edition of the Boll/Bezold book, edited by Gundel, is appreciated, [Enno Friedrich Wichard Ulrich von Wilamowitz-Moellendorff] wrote a charming letter; is pleased that Max Adolph and Frede attend concerts together; the seminar series has started, he has 24 students; he conducted through the library [Rudolf] Laun and wife and will conduct Dr. [Isak] Collijn and wife and Adolf Hilsenbeck, Munich; he feels well, is pleased that he can work, but is very stressed by Lena's [Hammer] influence on Frede; also, he had a conversation with Lena on Walther [Hertz] and his musical training; Lena suggested that Walther should study with a woman teacher, since his teacher Sakom has stopped teaching him; Warburg was against a woman teacher, but Lena spread gossip about it, drew B. Hartwig into it, etc.; Wilhelm [Wilhelm Adolph Hertz], Warburg's nephew, now accuses Warburg of viewing Walther as a man who has fallen among women; Walther is not a 'desperado of idealism', since Sakom ended teaching him, he has not studied seriously, accuses him of dilettantism; wants to stop Walther wasting his life with this woman and wants to give him a second chance with a good teacher, who does not mistrust Walther as Sakom did; is annoyed that Wilhelm [Wilhelm Adolph Hertz] reproached Warburg for having banished Walther to Berlin; informs Max Adolph, as Walther's mother [Magdalene Hertz] does not want to give Walther's address in Berlin to Warburg; he does not like dealing with the family of Walther [Hertz]; would like it if Max Adolph talked to Walther
