Contentsthey have not yet left, because Mary fainted after a dinner with Helene Krahnstöver and [Wolfgang] Stechow; Warburg does not mind the delay, but Max Adolph has to return to Berlin to finish his PhD by Christmas; Max Adolph will go as far as Zurich with them, then on to Berlin, whilst Mary and Warburg will go to Constance, Hotel zum Hahnen; afterwards to Frankfurt to see Dr. von Noorden; Warburg is very happy with the result of his research in Florence; they often met [Robert and Philippine] Davidsohn, lovely people, she gives them three stars in her Florentine Baedeker; [Mary and Aby] Warburg will dine in the restaurant Comparini; Max Adolph was able to do a few drawings; has no news from Frede; wants to have news about the puppies and the carnations they sent; one year ago Marietta and Peter Paul celebrated their engagement
