| Contents | he went to the solicitor [Rudolf] Isay to discuss whether Warburg should switch from Teubner publishers to another publisher; saw not much chance in improving the situation with another publisher; KBW would only get 100 free copies which is not enough as the most precious additions to the library are routinely those which have been exchanged for KBW publications; the KBW could not longer act as an 'Academy' in its own right; will talk to [Alfred] Giesecke of Teubner publishers in the next few days in Berlin and will try to get production costs reduced; he will inquire what Teubner publishers would think of a Vierteljahrsschrift published by KBW; the series 'Vorträge' might be reduced by one or two contributions per issue; does not share the concern of his brothers; once his large book, Atlas, will have been published - it will be completed before Warburg's trip to America - it will become a standard book, the end result of the career of a scholar; other publishers will be pleased to publish KBW publications; in his view it is only a matter of bridging one to two years, when producing the publications will be a drain, afterwards they will make money; Isay will write to Max Warburg; is pleased to be in Berlin |
