ContentsFrede is to arrive in the evening and will set off with Mary Warburg after a day in Baden Baden; Alber is going to arrive already today; it will now be the Lake of Constance and not Garda, that is a shame but sensible, assumes that Max Adolph is going to be quite happy not to be bothered in his ordered day to day business by family influx; encourages him to finish with the proofs and end that part of his life; Aby Warburg is to stay until the middle of the following week as treatments started by Heinsheimer would not be finished before then; Saxl and Edgar and Ruth Wind are in Hamburg, the KBW in safe hands so Warburg can fully concentrate on Italy, he is going to meet Gertrud Bing in Bologna and will travel to Ferrara, Rimini, Orvieto, Perugia and then spent most of the time in Rome with a tour Florenz; Mary Warburg wories about Aby Warburg's physical strength and sees it as quite a responsibility for Bing, even if Alber's presence is reassuring; describes her and Frede's travel plans near the Lake of Constance; Marietta is recovering from illness; the new Zeppelin with Eckener on bord has been flying twice over their heads today
