| Contents | thanks for his first letter from Rome, is happy to read that he is meeting old friends; in unhappy that he still insists on discussing the missed telephone call with Max Adolph in Venice; encloses a card from Marc Rosenberg and the brochure of the Orientalistentag; commiserates poor old Rosenberg; Mrs. Pomarici has thanked for a one off payment of Mark 100 and she has not said anything to her husband about the monthly support of Mark 25; everybody is happy that Saxl managed to order photographs and to see manuscripts [in Paris]; it is high time that he returns, although [Edgar] Wind does his level best to represent him; the event organised by the university society was very successful, they collected a lot of money for student assistance; in the play [Phaedrus] by Panofsky Fritz Rougemont played Socrates; Mary met Schieflers, Keutgens, Sudecks; Rektor Sieveking made a good speech; Frede has been dancing; sends greetings to [Franz] Alber, Bingia [Bertrud Bing] |
