Strong visited Warburg to hear him explain the painting 'Judgment of Paris' and the development from the classical sarcophagus to Manet's landscape painting; hopes to publish a little article on it soon, although the date of 20 April, the day when the Institute in Rome will celebrate its centenary, is too soon; encloses a letter to Lothar Freund re 'Young Man with a Lute'; it is a scandal that nobody can find the photograph; Clara Hertz to write to Professor [Max?] Fehring; Edgar Wind might have to sign the letter to [Carl] Hoff |
