| Contents | she went with Mrs. Elisabeth Wegehaupt to the Rissen ponds, in the afternoon they had a coffee party with the old Schobers, aunt Lene [Magdalene Hertz], aunt Hanna [Johanna Hertz], uncle Wilhelm [Hertz] and the teacher Miss [unspecified] Hedde, of the recreation home in Großhausdorf; Mr. Schober has visited KBW, Dr. [Hans] Meier conducted him; [Alfred] Schober remembered that Frede did her A-levels with him; it was an important occasion, as the misunderstanding between aunt Lene and Mary seems to have been cleared up and Lene will no longer avoid visiting Mary; Max Adolph [Warburg] and [Marietta and Peter Paul] Braden returned to Hamburg, well rested despite the bad weather; they consulted Dr. med. Kräger who impressed them very much; Marietta needs treatment for gallbladder, liver and pancreas complaints, Peter for his gallbladder; they visited Lola [Hahn]; Mary is busy with the head of Marietta's baby ['Schnui', Peter Jan Braden]; Mary is keeping to a strict vegetarian diet, Auguste [Grajewsky, Nurse or maid] is allowed meat from time to time; Anna, the cook, is very good, better than Erna; approves of Frede's choice of lecture courses, hopes that she can keep to them and will not be too disturbed by socialising; she has received an invitation to the eve of wedding party of Ruth Warburg [daughter of Aby S. Warburg; oo to Kurt M. Neu] on 07/06/1930, in Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten; asks her to send a cable to Alsterufer 18; has just returned from her gymnastics class and breathing exercises with Miss Günther |
